Alien Icarus is an alien from Planet Icarus who first appeared in the hit 1967 series Ultraseven. Another Alien Icarus appeared in Redman's debut series as well, and was known for his cowardly nature, running away from Redman instead of fighting.
This Alien Icarus appears in the 14th issue of The Ultra-Violent Adventures of Redman as a supporting character.

The Ultra-Violent Adventures of Redman[]
Alien Icarus, having gained knowledge of Redman's search for The Syndicate's outposts on the Isle of Wight, had decided to hide near Afton Down, having disguised himself to resemble the kaiju Tyrant. When he found Redman, Icarus confronted him and mustered the bravery to explain how difficult his life was. Without a home and ridiculed for his cowardly nature, Icarus explained how his disguise helped others respect him, even if they didn't know who he truly was. Humbled by this, Redman reassured the Alien that he did have friends elsewhere, and that everyone has at least one redeeming characteristic, regardless of whether they were cowardly or not.
After this, Redman and Icarus departed as friends.
